  • Stress Echocardiogram
A stress echo provides information about the function and contractility of the heart muscle before and after exercise. This assessment helps us diagnose problems with the coronary arteries and may lead to further testing if an abnormality is detected. It is important to notify your supervising doctor should you experience any symptoms of chest pain or nausea during the test. It is necessary to bring some comfortable walking shoes or sandshoes to exercise on the treadmill.
